SANAP project was a successful cooperation between Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB and Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) (including its predecessors APLAC and PAC), which has been operational for over 7 years. The main purpose of the project was to improve the services for promotion of accreditation systems in developing countries who were members of APLAC and PAC and to support APAC and its members from developing countries in their sustainable economic development. 

The main thematic areas of second project were Medical sector, food safety, climate change, resource efficiency, Organisational performance and resilience, occupational health and safety. 

The project provided support to undertake variety of trainings, knowledge sharing and e-learning. A successful project for developing economies which was largely applauded by all participants.
